We are currently in possession of the following technologies (some developed in-house):

Optical 3D inspection system

At PRODINTEC, we possess the necessary technology base and experience to enable us to take on any challenge related to artificial vision within a broad range of applications with a guarantee of success: dimensional inspection, completeness testing, assembly verification, identification, traceability, etc.
We are able assume the entire implantation project, from the initial moment of decision making to the final stage of installation and commissioning, including the intermediate stages of detailed definition of the system in question, while always adapting to the particular requirements of customers and their production processes.
Our customers thus reduce the high risk that the design and development of a system of this type supposes for them when putting into play their own resources and means. At PRODINTEC, we place our facilities and knowledge base at the disposal of companies so that they can test and verify the installation before transferring it to its definitive location in their production plant.

Dimensional metrology

We are experts at PRODINTEC in defining and developing R&D solutions based on industrial metrology, custom-made to the needs of companies.
To do so, we have specialised staff and cutting-edge equipment that enable us to tackle a broad range of subjects related to industrial metrology with a guarantee of success.

CEM LAB: Electromagnetic compatibility laboratory

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is the branch of technology that studies the capacity of any device to work correctly in its environment without causing disturbances in other devices or being affected by the emissions of such devices.
As of 1st January 1996, EMC regulations are of mandatory compliance to obtain the EC mark for all electrical and/or electronic products, essential for their commercialization in the European Union.
PRODINTEC provides the following services in the field of electromagnetic compatibility:
- Advice on the regulations in force regarding electromagnetic compatibility and the EC mark.
- Advice regarding the electrical and electronic product design phase, aimed at ultimate compliance with the regulations.
- Conducting of electromagnetic compatibility tests in the laboratory that we share with the University of Oviedo, located on the Viesques Campus.

Maintenance support technologies

Within the field of industrial maintenance, it is crucial to move on from traditional corrective repair (repairing when something breaks down) to preventive and even predictive maintenance.
At PRODINTEC, we have two maintenance support technologies that, moreover, do not require production line stoppages:
- Thermography: this allows differences in temperature on the surface of different points or objects to be seen, with a range of between -40 to 1.500 °C. In industrial maintenance, it is applicable in the early detection of failures in electrical systems (overheating of switchboards, lines, motors, transformation stations, solar panels, etc.), in insulation systems (chimneys, pipes, steam traps, etc.) and in mechanical systems (abrasion, lubrication, etc.). Furthermore, thermography is also used to inspect buildings (insulation, damp, filtrations, etc.), in the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine, machining, smelting and so on.
- High-speed filming: this is a very useful tool for detecting (often random) mechanical failures produced in mechanisms in high-speed movement (labelling machines, mechanical and pneumatics handling systems, lubrication streams, mist mixtures, etc.).

Success story

Goals: pre-certification testing for a new product in accordance with regulations.
