The NANOfutures Platform: cross-sectorial cooperation on nanotechnology
NANOfutures is an integrating Platform composed of 11 European Technology Platforms and more than 600 members from Industry, Academia, Research organizations, local clusters and national platforms. This environment allow a wide cross sectorial and comprehensive view, having full consideration of all vertical (industry/technology/research oriented) and horizontal (safety, education, financing, technology transfer, societal) issues involved in making nanotechnology a powerful innovation technology in the Horizon 2020.

Presentation of NANOfutures Innovation Roadmap for 2020
NANOfutures environment is developing an Industrial and Research Roadmap for European Nanotechnology which first outline will be presented for the 1st time during celebration of this workshop. It has been developed during an intensive, comprehensive, inclusive work of two years which involved a wide forum of stakeholders. It is based on both technological and non-technological aspects such as skills & education, communication, regulation, technology transfer etc.
